Lailatul Qadar or Lailatul Kadai?

Assalamualaikum

It's payday around the corner. ATM machines will run out of cash in no time. Shopping areas will be flocked and packed. Mosques will be deserted, left with maximum 5-6 rows compared to the full house we get on the first day of Ramadhan. While we are preparing for the upcoming Hari Raya, let us not forget that this last 10 days of Ramadhan holds countless of rewards and specialties from Allah.

In it, there is one special night for us as a gift from Allah, a night called Lailatul Qadar, the night of honour and dignity. This night, the Al-Quraan was revealed to Prophet Muhammad when he was in seclusion and prayers in the Cave of Hira. It is the most holiest and most blessed night which is likely to occur in one of the odd nights of the last 10 days of Ramadhan. Worship in this night is better than worship of a thousand months. Thats 83 years plus, or shall we call it, equivalent to a lifetime's continous worship.

So amidst our busy preparations, let's not forget.

Wallahua'lam
